try to diversify and represent. Music and dance but also spoken word. Latinos doing stuff pertinent to foreign cultures as well as folkloric material, and foreign groups adressing latinidad.

  • Color Scheme: Earth tones
    • Deep brown/beige
    • Fall colors: muted reds/yellows

    • SUGGESTION: some brighter reds, yellows, maybe purples?
  • Lighting:
    • In room Have dimmed lighting to complete forest-like feel
    • Work with production to plan lighting scheme onstage
  • Have 'nature soundtrack' playing in the bakground as people enter
  • Stage: several suggestions have been given
    • Minimal stage decor, some lights in the colors of, some leaves framing the stage
    • Huge cardboard tree backdrop around which show takes place.

Timeline:
  • Week of March 17th - must have budget ready to discuss. voted on in-meeting
  • Monday March 24th: Representative should come ready to present to Exec Board on Monday at 630pm
  • Week of March 31st: purchase materials, begin construction
