final costs for production have not changed, it is going to be $600 (basically it is mostly for the crew and house staff).
What I need, however, is the final list of performers with contact information. I need to get their lighting requirements ASAP to the production people. Also, on Friday I went to talk to Erika (who basically makes the final decisions for production stuff), and explained to her the food situation. She did not relent, and says that they don't want to change from dinner setup to an audience setup for Noche. I explained to her that we would have people that could do all the moving around, and still she said NO. So, I tried to come up with options that she would allow, here they are.
Option 1: They can set up 12 tables outside for dinner. Only problem with that is if it rains.
Option 2: They can set up buffet tables for the food indoors, and people can just sit in chairs, and hold their plates/eat on their lap. I personally think it is the best option just b/c we don't want to lose the food if it rains or whatever. So, what do you think??
I need to know by tomorrow, b/c I'm meeting with Erika again at 10:30.
For decorations: I assigned countries to people, so they can make information poster boards to put along the walls. I gave them specific ideas about what the posters should include. Hopefully, they will all get it done. I bought the poster boards yesterday, and am going to contact them all shortly, and figure out a way to get it to them. I gave them a Tuesday deadline (knowing full well that people might not turn it in on time, gives us a few days extra to bother them about it)
